Computing is a fast-changing, exciting field offering students numerous options for rewarding careers and future advancements. The Master of Science in Computer Science is designed to enable graduates to extend and deepen their computing knowledge and practices. The programme has been designed to provide the student with a blend of advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to emerging technologies deployed in industry and research of Computer Science.
The aim of the MCS programme is to enable students independently design and develop computer software systems and products based on sound theoretical principles and solid software development skills.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
To qualify for admission to the MCS degree programme an applicant must have any of the following qualifications:
an undergraduate degree in an ICT related field. from a recognised institution; or
a post graduate qualification in an ICT or Business or Engineering related field from a recognised university or other approved institutions.
DURATION OF STUDY
The course of study for the award of the MCS degree shall be completed in a period of not less than 18 months and not more than 36 months (3years).
