ZCAS University was founded as a subsidiary of the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies to develop, deliver and award academic degrees under the Higher Education Act No. 4 of 2013.
The University has in excess of 5,000 students and is known for excellence in full-time, evening and distance education. The Higher Education Authority classifies ZCAS University as a Tier 1 Higher Education Institution, authorised to award qualifications up to PhD level on the Zambia Qualifications Framework.
